Supervisory Roles

Kaka‘ako and Waipahu Full-Time. Assist in the supervision of the Back of House restaurant operations and ensure that the quality of the food that leaves the kitchen is up to Highway Inn standards. You will work the line, support the team, and make sure our food is ‘ono!Department: Back of House

Summary
In tandem with the Chef, supervises the Back of House operations. Ensures the quality of the food that leaves the kitchen is up to Highway Inn standards. This position cooks and prepares a variety of foods on the grill, as well as performs other assorted restaurant and catering functions in a busy restaurant environment, typically standing and/or walking continuously throughout working periods.

Supports co-workers and other operational areas of the organization, and performs other duties as assigned. Participates in the general stocking, cleaning, and general daily maintenance of kitchen and “back of house” areas, including equipment/tables/floors. Assist in creating a safe, congenial and efficient working environment, to enable co-workers to provide a pleasant, courteous, high quality and welcoming restaurant experience for customers. Waipahu. We deliver several large catering orders per week with our company vans. We are looking for drivers who want to make additional cash for a few hours work per day, mainly at the weekends.Department: Catering at Waipahu

Summary
A Catering Driver will use our logo’d company vans to deliver food for corporate events, birthday parties, weddings, etc.

Based in Waipahu, we are looking for coverage for approximately four to five (4–5) catering deliveries a week. Each delivery averages ninety (90) minutes and forty (40) miles round trip. Drivers notified twenty-four (24) hours to seven (7) days ahead of delivery and must advise management about availability or availability changes in a responsive and professional manner.

We pay a per mile rate subject to a minimum amount per trip, and participation in the back-of-house Kitchen service charge pool which will add to overall remuneration.

Qualifications

  • Valid HI Drivers’ License with no moving violations or restrictions in last 5 years.
  • Exhibits maturity, good judgment and innate customer service skills.
  • Be successfully trained in food delivery to clients.
  • On-time — 30 minutes before scheduled time, and help staff to load van.
  • Ability to read maps, map apps, read and write text message.

Bishop Museum

Bishop Museum. Work the register and / or prep the food for the museum guests and employees.Position: Cashier/Food Prep Bishop Museum

Position may include work on weekends, holidays, evenings, and early mornings, as restaurant is open seven (7) days per week, however the primary hours are between ten-thirty am (10:30 am) and three-thirty pm (3:30 pm).

Depending upon each individuals residence you may be required to report to our Waipahu location and assist with the daily provisioning of the van, transport to the Museum and return at the end of the day, or you may have the Museum as your primary location
